time chip attached comfortably with velcro

Fellow barefooter Allan may have a pointy chin, but not as pointy as mine. Also note my stellar posture.

You could teach an artistic composition and balance class with this photo.

Stop copying me, ac.

Seriously, quit it.

OK, are you running, or are you copying me again?

konichiwa!

Enjoying the beautiful day. Took the snark right outta me.

What? Camera? Flex! Welcome to the gun show!

"What we have here, is a FOOT." That's as far back as my leg goes.

ac has clearly never seen hamstrings as tight as mine. They truly are a wonder to behold.
Great photo,s made me laugh and took me out of a dark place I’m in right now!
Cheers
On the picture with other runners it is funny how all the other runners feet look unnaturally big in their shoes.
Thanks for the great photos … tell your photographer to come get a comp !!! Was a blast ! Hope everyone had half as much fun as I did. Sorry we did not budget pie in the face for every runner !!! NEXT YEAR !!
Fun post, nice pictures.
Wow I didn’t realize how obvious it was! But if I am going to attain barefoot enlightenment, I must emulate you in every way.
My obvious mistake was wearing shoes, because I was pretty beat up after the race.
I’ll be getting the tattoos this week…
Your captions made me smile. Looks like the true spirit of running – fun!
Josh, perhaps you are the one copying AC, except you aren’t wearing
What an awesome Labor Day. I ran 18 miles this morning in funerific weather. Lots of folks were out enjoying the sunshine and cooler temps. Feet and legs feel fine, like I could have got in a few more. Love it.
short shorts
Rick: If it’s never dark, you can’t sleep properly.
Ewa: It’s all about style.
Joel: I hope you’re not kidding. That was fun.
vc: Thanks – you should try to be in a race with Shannon. She always takes the best pictures.
ac: I got the bicycle tattoo on my calf after I rode 100 mi the first time. The calavera skull I got when we paid off a credit card. I’m going to get a naked devil lady once I finish putting the fence up.
Julie: spirit of running, running on spirits, potato potahto.
Kelly: nice non-linear commenting. Love the “easy” long runs. I do have a couple short-shorts. Maybe I’ll wear them next race. I don’t think they compliment my silhouette very well, however.
Very good captions!! That makes me laugh. I am hoping I will be able to photograph you in the Blue Ridge Relay too.
I Am very interested in feedback on the race .. i would like to do the same Sat next year, but have both a 5 and 10 k usatf certified AND start the race at 3 pm so that the Beer donated by Natty Greenes will not be wasted …. I have a couple of Gallons in jugs sitting in my fridge… was crying as a third of a keg was dumped on the ground this morning !!! if we can get the old town beer run crew here .. that will not happen
Joel,
I did my best with the beer, it was really good. You can’t do better than beer after a race, and I don’t care what time it is. And the breakfast spread was better than anything I have had at a race.
The course was good, if a little short.
Thanks for everything! I’ll be back next year.
I have only seen “pie in the face” on TV…oh but to experience it was quite addictive!!! Its the first race I have ever witnessed where the police had a blast and participated in cheering us runners on. They actually were shaking hands with Joel for “makn’ their day”.
Damn boy, where you’d get those guns! You been sneaking around to another trainer? LOL! If barefoot running gives you guns like that, I need to ditch the shoes! LOL! Congrats on a great race!
RunnerDude: I went to Brazil and got tricep implants. I went to the same doc who did my chin.
Hear they do glute implants too. I wouldn’t recommend going there.
What, do my shorts make my butt look big?
