I don’t want to go to jail for giving nutritional advice w/o a licence

Sorry guys, all this talk about diet will have to end. Anything I say regarding food consumption might be regarded by the State of North Carolina as “advice.” Since I don’t have a license to give nutritional advice, I could be considered a criminal. I don’t know what that entails, but I don’t want to find out.

Well, I’m not complaining. We all must do what we must to preserve our feedoms.

  1. As far as I know anyone can give nutritional advice, but only dietitians can give advice to solve a medical condition. What I do on my blog or on a form when I talk about nutrition is say something like “here is the research”, or “here is what I would do”, or “if this was my mom, I would suggest…”.

    • Regardless, I would advise avoiding discussing anything that might anger The State. Wait, can I advise that? Maybe I should just stick to limericks. Unless I need a Limerick License.
