Next Up: The Scream Half Marathon

I think I can run it in under 1:20. That’s all I’ve got to say about that, because I’m suffering from a case of writer’s block and am tired of looking at a blank screen. So, if there’s anything you want to know about my training or diet or which shorty-shorts I’ll be wearing or what I’m drinking now or game plan or buy our house or my opinion of the impending reign of the cephalopods or do I think ac has a chance to beat me, go ahead and ask in the comments. I’ll answer as many as I can before I leave tomorrow afternoon and be rendered unplugged.

  1. actually the cabin has pretty good internet access. So you will not be facebook deprived.
I’m putting you at 1:18:53. Provided no one pushes you over the side of the cliff. AC will be going for a 1:22:59, which will be huge PR for him.

    • Oh. I was kind of looking forward to the internet withdrawal shakes.

I can’t make a prediction for you. I’ve been fooled too many times. I do think you will certainly PR.

  2. Holy crap! I would love to see you go under 1:20. Can you make a prediction for my time? I need a lofty goal to shoot for. And isn’t your house under contract? We are very much looking forward to hanging out with you and Iris. Hopefully it will stop pouring rain.

  3. What are you comments on the efficiency of rolling downhill like a log? This maybe a far better strategy than attempting to run such a steep descent. With the proper tucking technique and a sturdy helmet, you could finish under an hour and have a nice trophy to go along with the bruises and abrasions. Good luck. Cheers!
