About

I’m learning how to run, starting from the beginning. Well, not the very beginning; I opted for clothing.

I also like art.

  1. I would just like to say that you left quite an impression on my son when you visited his school today. Daniel goes to Dillard. He’s told us all about you and wanted to check out your website. He even had me “like” your page for facebook. Thank you for being such an inspiration to kids. Danny’s excited about the 5K race in April and said you’re gonna be there too.

    • That means so much to me to hear that! Thank you. I’ll be at the training runs every Wednesday until the race. Daniel’s a good kid and is doing a great job.

  2. I have been running using Walmart beach shoes $7 since 2009 since reading “Born To Run” and was lucky to run into barefoot Josh at the “Fun 4th Fest” downtown. He has certainly strengthened my conviction that barefoot or minimals are the best way to run. Keep up the good work Josh. See you on Saturday. I’m doing a 16-miler.

  3. I am flat footed BFR and am trying to choose between the Vapor and the Roadglove. Which one has the least arch?

    Thanks,

    Dennis

    • The Vapor Glove. They both are snug around the arch – that’s how they stay on the foot (instead of squishing the toes). The Vapor however is a lot more flexible (and minimal), so my guess is that would be the shoe for you. Get creative with the lacing if you need to. Good luck!
